Wife. Mother. Blessed.

I am the wife of a loving husband, Jarrod . The mother of two healthy and beautiful baby girls, Henley and Hoke. Most mornings I make a full pot of coffee, and never even have a chance to pour it into my cup. I still make it every day convincing myself that today is the day I am going to drink the entire pot. Our life is exciting,  exhausting, full of joy, stressful, fulfilling, and a lot of times very funny.

I have started this blog because there has been a season of change for my little family. We have doubled our size in the last two years, started living a healthy lifestyle, and I have started exploring couponing and what that means for our family. This has been a HUGE year of growing for us in so many different ways, and I feel like God has been pressing on my heart to connect with others AND to share what I have been learning. He has recently  given me stirrings and interests that are surprising and foreign to me. I am the least technically savvy person I know and this is coming from a person who has a grandmother that once  turned a laptop on and thought she was on the internet. This is my way of creating an outlet to explore what exactly it is that the Lord wants me to do with information that He is clearly providing to me.

I have named my blog Mama Goose Cuttin’ Loose, because as silly as it may sound, it’s a pretty good representation of what my life is like right now. Obviously, as a stay at home mom, my family is my boss. Primarily, I work for my children. I love being a mommy, and I have an enormous maternal instinct. I am totally a mother goose, especially since I literally have two little babies on my heels at every turn. With that being said, I’m not so much the “mom jeans” soccer mom circa 1992. And you’re not going to catch me in mini van anytime soon. (No offense to my adorable, trendy, mini van driving friends.) That’s where the Mama Goose part comes in; I am not ready to be a Mother Goose, but I’ll be a Mama Goose any day of the week!

Thank you for joining my journey!
