The Boyd Family Garden

20 Apr

Jarrod and I have been working has been working so hard on our garden, and things are already sprouting nicely! Having a backyard garden is a great way to save money on groceries, have family time in the yard, teach your children about where food comes from, and have a sense of accomplishment once the produce is on your plate.

We have (4) 4 foot x 4 foot raised beds. Several of our plants came from seed, and the rest were transplants. We used organic plants, seeds, topsoil, and dirt.

 The raised beds

The herbs. See the wine cork markers I made? I love them!
