Never Forgotten 9-1-01

11 Sep

It’s amazing to me how fresh 9-11-01 feels in my heart and on my mind. I have been watching all of the events of that horrendous day over and over again throughout this week. As Americans the events of 9-11 deeply affected all of us, but let us not forget the families and children who were directly affected by the events on that day. They aren’t just reminded of that day because it is the 10th anniversary, they have a constant reminder every single day, and have for the last 10 years. The empty chair at the dinner table, no daddy at the soccer game, no hug from a mother after a bad day… May God let us never forget those who were lost on 9-11-01. Let us never forget the courage of the firefighters, police, and EMS who were running in to the building when everyone else was fighting to get out. Let us never forget the servicemen and women who have sacrificed their lives to protect ours, and their families who have allowed their loved ones to fight for our freedom.

The wicked plot against the righteous, and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for He knows their day is coming.” Psalm 37: 12-13

If our God is for us, then who can be against us? Romans 8:31

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 1st John 10:10
